VSC Fire & Security, a leading fire protection and life safety system contractor, is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Service Sales and Estimating Representative for our Raleigh district office.

We are seeking an experienced Sales Representative with a background in fire sprinkler systems. The responsibilities include leadership and day to day management of the department in their efforts to generate new business and provide service to current customers to meet established goals. This position will be responsible for creating, maintaining and developing a strong client base with responsibility for generating new business. In addition, is expected to produce cost estimates utilizing industry standards, generate and present proposals, negotiate pricing, and close sales. Post sale responsibilities include generating applicable documentation and coordinating with internal staff for scheduling and hand off. Position is expected to maintain client relationships.

The successful candidate must have sales experience that includes success with cultivating new business and maintaining existing business. Knowledge and experience related to design, installation, and service of fire sprinkler systems are essential. Demonstrated PC skills as well as experience using a customer database management system are required.
